Save the date for the Unplug + Recharge Mini Retreat. Co-hosted by Kelci DeFrancesco and Tammie Ramos-Crispino, these two industry veterans are joining forces to bring you two days of restoration and creative refueling.
With close to twenty years of combined experience in the paint your own pottery industry, Kelci and Tammie have designed this retreat to help alleviate a few of the biggest problems facing studio owners today: Burn out. Fatigue. A loss of passion. Sound familiar? We're sure it does, because we've experienced it ourselves! Throw in the madness of Christmas shoppers and private events and firing retro trees and….yeah. We’re thinking it’s time you took a little break.
This event is a totally unique and brand new offering for our industry. We’re taking all the things you love about pottery events (new techniques, business classes, time with friends new + old…) and adding a self care and wellness spin to it. (Think yoga, meditation, essential oils, time on the pottery wheel, and a few other luxurious treats.) Add in some exciting partnerships with all of your favorite suppliers, and it’s going to be a pretty fantastic couple of days.
You’ve worked long and hard on your business. It’s time you took a little time for yourself, don’t you think?
Join us in October for two and a half days of fresh techniques, business classes, and self care. As small business owners, it is so important to take time away to refocus on your studio, set goals, and prepare for the holidays. However, it is equally as important that you take time to yourself to get away from the hustle of every day life and reconnect with what truly matters. Our retreat is designed to do just that: we'll be taking good care of both you and your business. Here's what you can expect:
Technique classes: pottery, board art, clay hand building, hand lettering, fluid art, and canvas
Business classes: social media, fundraisers, wellness checks for you and your business
Self care: gentle beginner yoga, meditation, self care breaks and workshops
We'll begin at 7 pm on October 21, and end at 5 pm on October 23.
Thank you to our wonderful sponsors! We are so looking forward to providing attendees with a well rounded and educational experience.
